We live in perilous times. Rancorous civil unrest from main street to the halls of Congress is deafening. Our elected Washington “leaders," many of whom are career politicians who have either grown up or grown old in Congress, have promised for decades to solve the pressing issues that are dividing our nation today. But rather than take a firm stand to make those tough decisions, they did nothing in their greater desire to become career politicians. Kicking the can down the road is no longer possible. We are at a dead end overlooking a steep cliff.

We are in a spiritual battle for the soul of our nation. Partisan bickering and impeachment battles are distractions to the real war our nation faces: Globalism vs. America's sovereignty; Capitalism vs. Socialism; Judeo-Christian values vs. Atheism; Makers vs.Takers, and defending our national story of our founding and cultural traditions.

The contempt for hard-working North Carolina taxpayers who pay the bills must end. A smaller, less bloated federal government that transfers power back to the states and local control is what’s best for North Carolina’s citizens, small business owners, industries, farmers and workers.

As your US Representative in Congress with the Constitution as my guide, I will fight especially hard to protect and promote the conservative and traditional values that make the heartland of District 10 a great place to live and work as well as all of beautiful North Carolina from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Outer Banks.
